Our Programs
High School Advising
I will usually start with students in 9th and 10th grade, though I often sign students up in spring of 8th grade to talk through courses for high school before it starts. We talk through interests, passions, favorite courses and subjects, and spend time getting to know one another. This work we do at a younger age is a great foundation to the College Advising Program for 11th and 12th graders. We do a lot of basic work like exploring majors, high school activities, developing a four-year high school course plan, and SAT/ACT diagnostic testing (if needed). If you have a student who is college bound, this is a great beginning to that journey. This program is comprehensive and we prorate the College Advising program below if you start in 8th, 9th, or 10th grades.

Comprehensive College Advising
The College Advising programs cover the 11th and 12th grade years. We work together to establish, research, and hone a college list. The student will also work on structuring activities, researching potential majors, and will be provided timelines for application work. We will brainstorm essays and tackle the application in bite-size pieces. I don’t like to assign too much to a student in each meeting so I can keep this as stress free as possible. Because of that, we will meet regularly through junior and senior years to develop the college list and application plan. This program covers up to 8 college applications.
This program is comprehensive for the list of colleges and includes all review, essays, application prep, and advising, without a limit on hours, though we would never call the program “intense.” We work with the student, at a reasonable pace, to get all the work done early.
Cost for this program is $6,990 for 11th/12th grades. Families may sign up earlier for a pro-rated amount.

Additional
Advising, Essay, and Application Support
If you aren’t sure you need a more comprehensive program or have a special need (transfer or graduate application work), I can work with students on specific needs. For example, I can support essay reviews, UC application and Common Application support and reviews. Families are charged based on the package they purchase and any other consulting provided. I have limited offerings for these programs, though they range in price from $890 - $2990 and many families will combine a few of these packages.
